Our all forage -based flock produces beautiful fleeces for fiber artists.
Our Border Cheviot fleeces are skirted, raw fleeces which can be spun in the grease or washed. The lanolin content of the Border Cheviot fleece is not too high, making spinning in the grease a "dreamy experience," according to one customer.
An average fleece weighs 5lbs and an average lamb's fleece 3lbs.
Staple length averages 3"-3.5".
